Advice?
«
on:
August 14, 2009, 02:28:23 PM »
This past spring while scouting for deer season, I found a bunch of garbauge left up in the woods, most of it metal, so I packed as much as I could out in my Badlands Hypervent, but the stuff had grease on it, so now i have grease in my pack, so anything I put in there comes out black, kinda annoying, any suggestions on how to clean it out?
Thanks in advance

If there's no waterproof coating on the inside, I'd turn it inside out and use a soft brush with a mixture of dishsoap and boraxo to wash it with. Air dry.

call badlands and ask them what they recommend for cleaning. whatever you do try a small inconspicuous area first to make sure it doesn't damage anything.
i would agree with the simple green idea.

Calling Badlands is the best suggestion. I wouldn't use Simple green. I think it would leave too much smell.
